ASDAN Qualifications are approved for pre- and post-16 provision by the regulatory authorities for England(Ofqual), Wales (DfES) and Northern Ireland (CCEA), and by the Secretary of State under Sections 96 and 97 of the Learning and Skills Act. Each Qualification sits within the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) or Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) and some have approval within SCQF in Scotland.

Our International GCSE family offers world-class qualifications for UK and international students. Edexcel International GCSEs are studied in over 55 countries worldwide and at over 350 independent schools in the UK. Available in more than 40 subjects, they are equivalent, grade for grade, to UK GCSEs. Edexcel Certificates are International GCSEs for UK state schools. Available in 13 subjects, they’re based on the same specifications but count towards school performance tables and the EBacc.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation is a registered UK charity whose mission is to promote The Duke Of Edinburgh’s International Award (known as the DofE in the UK), provide young people with the Award, and preserve the quality of the Award worldwide. The Award enables 14-24 year olds to learn practical skills that are valuable to their personal and professional development.

ASDAN UNITED

United is a skills-development framework designed to support primary school children in Years 1-6 in practising and developing essential learning skills to enable them to fully access the ‘traditional’ curriculum. At each stage, learners develop their skills in the five strands that make up United: undertaking and planning an investigation; information (collecting, organising and presenting information); teamwork; evaluation; and determination (developing resilience and a positive attitude to learning). Learners enhance their critical thinking ability and are given regular opportunities to practise, develop and embed the skills they’ve learned.
